Prayer for Health, Bishops, and the Flourishing of Orthodox Lutheran Theology

  • O Lord of life and mercy, with a heart full of gratitude, I commend to You the health of those You have entrusted to my care.
  • Grant them bodily strength, peace of mind, and the guidance of Your Holy Spirit. As I intercede for the well-being of our bishops—shepherds of Your flock—I also lift up every student whom You call to walk in truth, grace, and faithful service.
  • May the treasures of Orthodox and Lutheran theology flourish in this world—rooted in the apostolic faith, nourished by Scripture, and bearing fruit in love. Let Your Word dwell richly in homes, schools, and congregations so that Your light may shine even in places overshadowed by confusion and despair.
  • Send forth new students—humble in heart, steadfast in prayer, eager to learn, and willing to bear the cross of truth and charity. Through their witness, may Your Church be strengthened, and Your name glorified among all nations.
